Malawi government in partnership with United States Agency of International Development (USAID) has constructed four prefabricated classrooms at Naizi Community Day Secondary School in Bangwe through the Secondary Education Expansion For Development project (SEED).

The Deputy Headmaster of Naizi Community Day Secondary School, Hendrix Kaumila said the project was supposed to be completed in 49 days, but due to the pandemic of Corona Virus it has taken 3 months but still it has been a successful development.

He said that the infrastructural development in education sector is very beneficial to the society, since number of students that are selected to their school will be incremental than before.

"Presumably looking at our statictics and the design used to build these prefabricated classrooms, each classroom will be able to occupy 60 students", Kaumila said.

James Kainga, student at Naizi Community Day Secondary School, added that these prefabricated classrooms are of great importance to him and all of his fellow students.

"At first, each and every class was overfilled, that the population of students to teacher was not equivalent at all," Kainga concluded.

Kaumila commended government and USAID for the project and asked for the extension of project.
